Who will win the WSL title? My predictions for the season.

2–3 minutes

In honor of the WSL starting today, I’ve made some predictions for the upcoming league season. I’ll check back at the end of the season to see if I was right or not.

Read on to see if you agree with my predictions.

Prediction 1 – Who will contend for the title?

I believe the title race will be between Chelsea and Manchester City, much like last season. Both teams have squads that are more than capable of competing for the trophy. We will be in for an entertaining ride to the end of the season.

Prediction 2 – Who do I think will win the title?

The second prediction I’ll make is who I think will ultimately win the title. I believe that Chelsea will add one more title to their record. They have transitioned from one successful manager to another. Their pre-season performances seem

promising despite all of the movement in and out of the club.

Prediction 3 – Who will be this season’s impact signing?

The transfer window allowed for lots of players to make exciting moves. Vivianne Meidema is one of the moves i think will have a significant impact. The Manchester side managed to sweep in and steal Meidema for free after her contract with Arsenal ended and add her to their already star studded lineup. It will truly be interesting to see her impact in the league.

Prediction 4 – Who is the manager to watch?

There are several managers to keep an eye on as 5 new faces will be on the touchline this season. However, I believe the manager to watch will be Matt Beard at Liverpool. His team surpassed expectations last season, so seeing what Liverpool can achieve this season will be interesting.

Prediction 5 – Who will be facing the drop?

Unfortunately, some teams have to move up while others move down. The newly promoted teams often get relegated, as we saw with Bristol City last year. This could be because of the significant gap between the Championship and the WSL. As a result, it seems likely that Crystal Palace could be the team that gets relegated. However, teams like Leicester and West Ham, which have struggled in recent seasons, could also be at risk of facing relegation.

Well, those are my predictions we will have to wait and see how this season pans out. In the meantime let me know your predictions for this season.
