Manchester City 1 – 2 Arsenal.
There was a massive turn in the title race as the game that could decide who would lift the trophy next week took place.
The match was a great spectacle for the neutrals, as it became clear that the title race would go down to the final day.
At first, a loss looked unlikely for Man City as they started in the driving seat in their typical fashion.
Lauren Hemp opened the scoring, and it seemed like City would dominate the game as they created enough chances to put the game to bed.
However, Stina Blackstenius had other ideas. She stunned City by scoring twice late into the second half, flipping the result on its head and securing a vital win for her team.

Chelsea 8 – 0 Bristol City.
Ending the weekend with their final home game of the season, Chelsea delivered an impressive performance.
A game that will be remembered not only for the scoreline but also for being the last home game for manager Emma Hayes, as well as two players who have become an integral part of the Chelsea team: Fran Kirby and Maren Mjelde. Both players announced their upcoming departures from the club midweek.
Earlier in the day, Manchester City had dropped points, giving Chelsea a chance to lift some silverware if they could score as many goals as possible, and that is exactly what they did.
Chelsea did not hesitate on the pitch. Guro Reiten was the star of the show, scoring four goals and leading the team to victory and with a combined effort from Nusken, Charles, and Beever-Jones, the scoreboard was taken to 8-0 in favour of Chelsea.
Liverpool continue impressive season with a sweet victory at home for the last time.
Liverpool 1 – 0 Manchester United.
There were even more goodbyes made in WSL this weekend, It was announced that Liverpool will no longer be hosting their matches at Prenton Park; as they have reached an agreement to move to the St Helens Stadium. This is a great move not only for the reds but also moving the women’s game forward.
The Reds definitely made their final match at Prenton Park a memorable one, with Liverpool securing a 1-0 win against Manchester United. The two sides were level on points before the game, making the victory even more satisfying for the Reds.
Jenna Clark scored the only goal of the game, which was also her first for Liverpool.
The Reds dominated the game from the beginning and had a chance to take an early lead.
However, their manager, Matt Beard, was sent off after protesting a decision, after Emma Koivisto’s thumping collision with the advertising hoardings.
Despite this setback, Liverpool was able to hold on to their lead and secure a well-deserved victory.
Lilywhites dared to draw against the Toffees.
Everton 2 – 2 Tottenham Hotspur.
In the game between Tottenham Hotspur and Everton, the home side started strong, with Sarah Holmgaard finding the net just 10 minutes in. Everton soon doubled their lead through Vanheavemat after Spurs failed to clear the corner.
Despite being 2-0 down the Lilywhites began to settle into the game and started creating chances. They began to test Courtney Brosnan in goal and Drew Spence was able to tap into an empty net to half the deficit before the break. After the break, Beth England leveled the game to pull Tottenham Hotspur back into contention.
Winless West Ham break the pattern.
West Ham 1 – 1 Leicester City.
West Ham had been struggling to come away with 3 points in their last few games, and this weekend their opponent was Leicester City.
In the reverse fixture, West Ham was fortunate to end up with a draw as Honoko Hayashi scored a goal in the final moments.
However, this time, things were different. Riko Ueki scored just 15 minutes into the game, and West Ham maintained their lead.
Despite this, Leicester managed to equalize when Jutta Rantala took a corner shot, and Sophie Howard found the back of the net.

Brighton & Hove Albion 0 – 1 Aston Villa.
Aston Villa has won the last two matches against Brighton. Both sides had several chances, and Brighton’s key player Elisabeth Teland came close to scoring.
However, Villa finally broke the deadlock and managed to score when the ball fell kindly to Alisha Lehmann. The Swiss international has now scored twice in the last 2 games.

What does this mean for the table ?

This is what the table looks like as we head into the final weekend. Despite their recent loss, Manchester City remain in the top spot.
Chelsea has a game in hand and must secure three points against Spurs midweek if they want to win the trophy once again.
This week has reopened the title race which means that it goes down to the final day.
Liverpool has leapfrogged Manchester United in the standings, in what has been a closely contested season for both teams, the difference is small and the competition for the fourth spot remains.
The points are tight at the bottom of the table as well but with relegation confirmed for Bristol City, there is no danger for anyone.
