The scoring started in the 37th minute when Jess Park opened the scoring, assisted by Leila Ouhabi, with her first league goal for City. Park later doubled the lead before the break.
Bunny Shaw added to the tally assisted by Park, the goal that allowed her to become the all-time top scorer for Manchester City.

West Ham 0 – Chelsea 2.
The match between West Ham and their London rivals was held at Chigwell Construction Stadium. West Ham, currently in 11th place, were looking to increase the distance from the relegation spot with a win. On the other hand, Chelsea needed to keep their winning streak as Manchester City were hot on their heels.
The game started with an early goal from youngster Aggie Beever Jones, who opened the scoring just 2 minutes into the game. The goal was a result of a sequence of 5 players with 1-2 touches getting the ball from Hampton to Beever Jones. This was an early wake-up call for the Hammers and set the tone for the rest of the game.
They had a free kick hit the bar, and Cuthbert finished a shot from the corner, which went over Arnold putting Chelsea 2 ahead of their London rivals.
Hayashi scored for the Irons but it was called offside, but photos showed that the wrong call was made. Despite this, West Ham struggled to capitalize on their chances. The offside calls have irritated Rehanne Skinner, and looking back, it seems the wrong call was made.

Katie Robinson then scored in the 68th minute to put the Seagulls ahead once again.
Lena Petermann pulled the home team level in the 84th minute.
Despite the effort, Elisabeth Terland managed to score in the 85th minute and put Brighton ahead again, bringing up her tally to 12 goals in 17 appearances.

Bristol City 0 – Tottenham Hotspur 1.
The match between Bristol City and Tottenham Hotspur took place at the Ashton Gate Stadium.
Just two minutes into the game, Bethany England fired Spurs ahead assisted by superstar youngster Grace Clinton. England’s goal marks her first league goal of the season following her injury stint.
Although Spurs continued to press, they were not able to capitalise on their chances. After the match, manager Robert Vilahamn shared that he felt like his team should have scored more than they did. Spurs had a total of 23 shots, out of which 7 were on target, compared to Bristol City’s 1 on-target shot.
Unfortunately for Bristol City, they have now suffered their 13th defeat from their 17 league games this season and sit in 12th spot with only 6 points.
On the other hand, Spurs now sit in 6th place, which is an improvement from their ninth-place finish in the last season. Every win they collect will only empower Spurs, especially as they now have a WFA Cup semi-final against Leicester to look forward to.

Arsenal strikes again: Gunners score 3 Goals at Villa Park despite match delay.
Aston Villa 1 – Arsenal 3.
The match between Arsenal and Villa Park was a crucial one for Arsenal, who were looking to secure a spot in the Champions League following their loss last weekend. However, the match was delayed due to travel disruption, marking the second time in a row that Arsenal’s matches had been delayed.

Arsenal went into the break trailing behind Villa.
But in the second half, Arsenal came back strong with Pelova scoring a goal in the 54th minute, followed by several close chances from Frida Leonhardsen Maanum and Stina Blackstenius, who hit the post.

It all ends even in Merseyside.
Everton 0 – Liverpool 0.
Liverpool were looking to extend their three-game winning streak and arrived at Goodison Park with confidence. Meanwhile, Everton had lost their last game but were determined to bounce back from their defeat and defend the 1-0 victory they earned at Anfield in October.
The match as a whole was a scrappy, stop-start affair with both teams creating chances but failing to convert them into goals.
In the end, the points were shared, and neither team was able to secure a win. Both teams benefit from the points being shared Liverpool top the Red Devils and move up to 4th place while Everton create more space between them and the thought of relegation.
The WSL table.
The title race in the Women’s Super League is currently exciting to watch, as Chelsea and Manchester City are neck and neck in the standings. From their recent victory, Liverpool has climbed up above Manchester United, making the competition even more intense.

On the other hand, the bottom of the table is quite tight as well, with several teams fighting to keep themselves in the top half of the table. Although mathematically possible, it won’t be an easy task for Bristol to bounce back from their defeats and stay up, as they have a string of tough games ahead of them.
